Packer Shoes has another collaboration taking place with New Balance which adds to the Jersey Devil Collection. They will be working with the New Balance 580 which is being called ‘Pine Barrens’.
Within the dense maze of pine trees, NJ’s most infamous urban legend has been known to terrorize unfortunate forest wanderers since the 1700s. While visual evidence of the mythical creature has been scarce, the beast is finally emerging from the darkness in the form of our sneaker homage.
Featuring the New Balance 580 for their collaboration, the shoes draws inspiration from both the forest and its most legendary inhabitant using murky red tones spread across a variety of premium suedes and ballistic mesh. A pine forest graphic adorns the tongue label and inner lining, while 3M accents provide some vibrant pops against the dark red base.
The Packer Shoes x New Balance 580 ‘Pine Barrens’ is releasing on March 25th, 2016 exclusively at Packer Shoes. Limited to 500 pairs, retail price is set at $160. Matching apparel will also be available.
