As we learned more about the Packer Shoes x Reebok Classic Leather “Aztec” in a video featuring Packer Shoes’ Mike Packer last week, we now have a release date for the shoe which celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Classic Leather model.
Here’s more of what Packer Shoes had to say about the upcoming collaboration:
The Aztec was Reebok’s first running shoe released on US soil in 1979. At the time it was the most expensive running shoe on the market priced at an astronomical $60. Borrowing cues from one classic and applying it to another “Classic”, the Packer Shoes x Reebok Classic Leather “Aztec” features a fluid mix of materials. Constructed using premium suede along the upper with a perforated nubuck toe box and ballistic mesh side panels for breathability, distressed leather vector logos and Packer Shoes branding on the insoles tongue, this edition is perfect for both casual and athletic purposes (as originally intended).
Priced at $130, look for the Packer Shoes x Reebok Classic Leather “Aztec” to release through Packer Shoes beginning tomorrow, Saturday March 23rd.
