First worn and introduced back in the ’80s by track & field Olympic gold medalists Daley Thompson and Sebastian Coe, Italian-based sports brand Diadora and Amsterdam’s Patta have teamed up to revive the Diadora N9000.
A classic running sneaker that was originally made of Japanese suede, nylon mesh, and leather materials, Diadora and Patta have set out to recapture the same quality from 20 years ago. With an updated look, this “Made in Italy” model adopts a new colorway with shades of blue, black underlays, hints of red, and more. Also, fans of this collab will love the addition of “Patta” branding found on the tongue and back heel as well as “Sn” graphics commemorating Patta’s 10 year anniversary.
Available in sizes US6-12 at a price tag of €150 ($203USD), the Patta x Diadora N9000 “Made in Italy” will launch in-store and online through Patta this Saturday January 25, 2014.
