Prior to Jeremy Lin’s debut of his special edition Zoom Hyperfuse iD in the NBA Rising Stars Challenge, Penny Hardaway hit the hardwood in some exclusive Foams for the 2012 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.
After donning the “Galaxy” Foams for the first half of the contest, Penny came out for the second half in a 1-of-1 “Shooting Stars” Nike Air Foamposite One. A tribute to Penny’s legendary career and commemorating his return to Orlando for All-Star Weekend, the Foams closely resemble a PE he donned for Magic home games in 1997.
Designed by Marc Dolce with specific insights from Penny, the kicks feature a special star graphic along the eyestay that also appears on the icy outsole. Additionally, “Ballin Is What I Was Born To Do” adorns the left insole alongside Penny’s signature while a special Penny graphic inspired by the old Orlando Magic logo lands on the right insole.
