Peyton Smith who is a teenager and a cancer survivor that received the help of Make-A-Wish Foundation lead to him designing his very own Air Jordan 4.
“Today is a very special day because exactly one year ago today I did a once in a lifetime opportunity that was my Make-A-Wish. What I did for my wish due to my passion and love for everything sneakers was to visit Nike Headquarters out in Oregon and design a shoe of my very own; that shoe being an Air Jordan.”
Peyton’s pair of the Air Jordan 4 comes in a Military Blue like theme while dressed in White, Blue and Grey and is a tribute to his Air Force family. Some of the highlights on this pair includes a Nike Cancer Ribbon on the heel, ‘Air Peyton’ on the inside of the tongue. On the lateral side is the places he lived and WW2 fighter planes inspired insoles.
Only four pairs of the Air Jordan 4 ‘Make-A-Wish’ was created and made exclusively for him and his family. Below you can check out more images which will give you a closer look.
