adidas Originals has unveiled their first release with Prada, which includes the Superstar and a new bag known as the Prada Bowling bag, which echoes the Prada Bowling bag as well as the adidas gym bag, in and of itself referencing the world of sports
The Prada Superstar and the Prada Bowling bag for adidas are proposed together; every piece is Made in Italy by Prada, indicating the superlative quality synonymous with the brand and its inimitable expertise in accessories and 106-year history as a luxury leather goods house.
This pair of styles – each with a fundamental duality at its core – has been evolved from their sports and subcultural roots into modern luxury. Clean simplicity and timeless lines are constants: the Superstar sneakers are translated using Prada’s full-grain leather for the upper with the signature adidas Originals rubber shell toe, finished with a herringbone-pattern rubber cupsole, serrated triple-stripe, and a Trefoil logo-pint on the heel, alongside the Prada logotype. The Prada Bowling bag for adidas is executed in superior calf leather with a sports nylon strap, the chassis of the bag bearing the twinned logos of Prada and adidas Originals. Both products are offered in optic white with black detailing: sharp, simple, immediately recognizable, outlining the genesis of Prada for adidas.
Prada adidas Superstar Release Details
Limited to 700 pairs, the Prada x adidas Superstar and Bowling bag will release at select Prada stores, prada.com and adidas.com on December 4th. The retail price is set at $3,170.

Update (9/1): After releasing in 2019, Prada and adidas will release a second installment on the Superstar, which includes a pair in Black, Silver/White, and White/Black. Each pair comes constructed in Italy while using full-grain leather and co-branding on the tongue. A release for the Prada Superstar collection will occur at Prada, adidas, and at select retailers on September 8th.
Update 2/29: Images of the Prada x adidas Superstar ‘Metallic Silver’ has arrived which is expected to release in March for $450.
Update 2/27: We now have official images of three new Prada x adidas Superstar color variations which is rumored to release in March for $450.
Update 1/3: The Prada x adidas Superstar releases will continue according to pyleaks. During 2020 there will be at least three new colorways releasing without the matching bag. Included will be Core White/Core Black-Core White, Core Black/Core Black-Clack, and Silver Metallic/Silver Metallic-Silver Metallic. Expected to release in March, the retail price will be $450 each.
