One of the first packs from Puma during 2017 is the Puma Clyde Black History Month ‘The Legacy’ Collection. The release celebrates the David T. Howard High School of Atlanta.
The collection honors and celebrates David T. Howard School of Atlanta, an original gamechanger. In its thirty years, it set a new precedent for education of black Americans and produced prominent alumni. Not least among them? Basketball legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and other notable civil rights leaders.
The collection features two pairs of the Puma Clyde. The first is known as the Clyde BBall which features basketball leather texture across the uppers. In addition, they use Gold on the eyelets to pay tribute to Clyde’s basketball trophies. The second is the Clyde Wool that combines a mixture of wool and chenille which takes inspiration from varsity jackets. They also combine Blue and Gold which represents the school.
The Puma The Legacy Collection released today, January 13th at select retailers including Puma.com. Below you can check out more images which will give you a better look.
