Keeping us in the loop on all the hot spots of Brooklyn, Ecentrik Artistry gives us an example of what a stroll through Williamsburg is like, or least an artistic interpretation of what that would be like. Steering away from Nike models seen in his previous AF1 “Splash Art” and AJ3 “Walls of DUMBO,” Ecentrik takes on the Puma Roma.
The Brooklyn Art Project: Puma Roma “Williamsburg” by Ecentrik Artistry feature three graphic designs on alternate panels, in shades of blue, orange and yellow. Most of these sneakers are dominated by an crystal blue tone, with light blue polygons floating on the uppers. The Puma logo and rear paneling arrive in a zesty orange, which sees darker tones of orange and white making a bold print within the logos. If you look closely as the toe caps, you’ll find a third graphic pattern, this time in a spotted, sunny yellow, and it continues to spread onto the tongues. As with the rest of this collection, a coordinating shirt comes along with the shoes!
“After a recent walk through the area in the midst of putting together my series I knew I had to do something Williamsburg-inspired. Â So I decided I wanted to work with a base shoe that I hadn’t touched before, that being the Puma Roma shoe.”
Ecentrik’s unique style of art really shines through with this pair of customs! And kudos for switching it up and attacking the seemingly untouched Puma Romas! More angles follow, but if you want to buy these, or any other shoes in the “Brooklyn Art Project,” go to the Ecentrik Art store now before these are all gone!
