The Shadow Society has yet again reached into PUMA’s storied archive to select and reinvigorate iconic kicks of old. The group’s reissues pay extreme attention to detail with premium craftsmanship, fabric, and colour all at the centre of the project. The first drop features fresh takes on the R698, and the coveted Shadow Society leather lace bags containing a set of premium laces for good measure.
In the 90s, PUMA added to the running revolution with Trinomic motion control technology. The R698 Runner fused Trinomic with a chunky EVA outsole and plenty of cushioning for a smooth ride. This version is re-imagined with athletic breathable mesh and premium suede overlays, and underlined by a translucent gum outsole.Â
