Ahead of this weekend’s release, Foot Patrol provides another look at the 2012 editions of PUMA’s Red Star and Blue Star as a part of the brand’s Shadow Society Collection.
This weekend sees the second and final drop from PUMA’s Shadow Society project with the release of the Blue Star & Red Star.
PUMA’s celebrated Shadow Society project sees the enigmatic collective granted access to two of the brands holiest grails the Blue Star and the Red Star. Re-issued for the first time, they represent one of PUMA’s most precious and stored silhouettes.
Originally released in the 80′s the Blue Star and Red Star featured lightweight construction combined with classic styling. Dressed in a clean suede upper with distinct overlays on the toe box, slim line tongues and a creamy gum cupped outsole providing ultimate grip on indoor surfaces. The vintage PUMA Dassler logo reinforces the re-issues heritage theme. Other details include the leather accents on the PUMA form stripe logo and vintage styled insole artwork and the Shadow Society leather lace bag with an alternate pair of tonal laces for each colourway.
The PUMA Shadow Society Drop 2 Blue Star & Red Star is due to be released IN-STORE ONLY on Saturday 8th December. Sizes range from UK6 – UK12 (not including half sizes) priced at £65.
