Nike presents a detailed look at the uniforms and cleats the Niners and Ravens will be sporting in Super Bowl XLVII.
Today Nike Football celebrates two teams that have made it to the sport’s largest stage to fight for the right to be named Super Bowl champions. The San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens will take the field for Super Bowl XLVII wearing the NFL’s most innovative uniform system to date. Both teams will wear the NFL Nike Elite 51 uniform, and Nike athletes will wear the Alpha Pro cleat and Vapor Fly glove.
The Ravens will take the field in their white jersey and black pant combination while the 49ers will wear red home jersey and gold pant. Both team uniforms feature full Nike Elite 51 innovation including Flywire technology in the neckline to reduce weight and provide a lockdown fit over the pads. These revolutionary uniforms are engineered and purposefully constructed with every element built for speed. From head-to-toe and inside-out, the uniform components are constructed to work in concert with each other – from the jersey, pant, baselayer and padding all the way down to the the sock and cleat. Additional innovation includes increased sleeve articulation for better range of motion as well as four-way stretch fabrication to provide a streamlined shrink-wrap fit.
The full, integrated uniform system also features strategically placed seams, pads and cooling zones that help minimize distraction and optimize protective coverage. Padding without the bulk offers optimal low-profile impact protection, specifically throughout the crucial “hit zone” between the knees and shoulders.
NIKE ALPHA PRO CLEAT
The Nike Alpha Pro Cleat is designed for explosive speed with an adaptive Nike Flywire support structure that creates an anatomical fit resulting in more stability while locking the foot in place. Additional features include:

NIKE VAPOR FLY GLOVES
Nike athletes on both teams will wear the new Nike Vapor Fly Glove featuring seamless Nike Hyperfuse construction on the back of the hand. It’s engineered with no-cuff construction to reduce weight and increase grip coverage. The palm features next-generation Magnigrip material for improved durability and also has a unique tacky grip across a larger surface area on the palm.
Hyperfuse construction along the back of the hand provides a seamless, breathable fit. Team logo graphic on the palm, which interlocks when both hands form together. The no-cuff construction reduces weight and increases grip coverage.The molded strap is adjustable for a custom fit at the cuff and palm. The articulated fingers of the gloves provide a secure fit and added dexterity.
