Real vs. Fake Air Jordan 1 Banned
Not an end all scenario, but sometimes it’s what comes with the shoes that can distinguish between real and fakes. As you can see, the fake pair comes with with White inserts along with detached lace bags. The laces bags are a lot larger on the fakes and not rolled up correctly. As well, the lacing goes through the top eyelets. Now it would be easy to unlace them and remove the lace bags and inserts, so we don’t want to put a ton of emphasis on it.
1. Leather Cut Around the Toe Box: The authentic pair is even throughout where the fake dips in areas.
2. Peaks: You will notice peaks on the fake pair.
3. Bottom Lace Placement: The bottom lace on an authentic pair will sit just below the stitching where the toe and tongue meet.
4. 84.10.18 X Placement: On a real pair, the 84.10.18 X will point towards the top lace hole where the fake will run straight across.
5. Side Stitching: The stitching that comes across the panels on the authentic will almost touch the Swoosh and cut down, where the fake pair sits up higher.
6. The Stars: The stars on the sole will be smaller on the authentic.
7. Box Label: The Box label is off below the colorway.
8. Shoe Inserts: The fake pair will have an insignia that is pushed in while the authentic is raised.
