Reebok Answer IV “Red Stepover” Releasing December 2023

Reebok will launch a new variation of the “Stepover” Answer IV series. Releasing in December 2023 is the Reebok Answer IV “Red Stepover”.

Reebok recently brought on Allen Iverson as Reebok Basketball’s Vice President. He has been influential for many years, starting in the mid-1990s. With the move, we can expect to see more of his signature shoes hit retailers, with one being the Answer IV. This particular pair is inspired by his MVP season in 2001 and an important moment in NBA history.

During the 2001 NBA Finals in Game 1, Allen Iverson would knock down a fadeaway jump shot, leaving Tyronn Lue on the hardwood. Disrespectfully, Iverson would step over Lue, resulting in the Answer IV in Black and White being dubbed “Step Over.” Fast forward to the Holiday 2023 season, Reebok will debut the “Red Stepover” Reebok Answer IV.

This Reebok Answer 4 comes dressed in a Flash Red, Core Black, and Solid Grey color combination. Constructed with leather throughout, the iconic zip shroud is used to cover the laces. Across the base is mostly Black with Red landing on the collar, part of the shroud, tongue, and velcro strap. Grey fills in part of the “I3” branding on the lateral side, vector, and DMX logo. We also have Iverson’s tattoos on the insoles and his face on the outsole. Other details include Black on the DMX foam midsole and rubber outsole.

Reebok Answer IV Red Stepover Release Date
