Reebok brought back The Blast in March, a basketball shoe that was released in the mid-90s and was part of the Mobius footwear collection, which offered a wide range of performance athletic shoes. In 2023, we will see more colorways of the model release, including this ‘Lakers’ rendition.
This Reebok The Blast comes dressed in a Footwear White, Always Yellow, and Bold Purple color combination. Utilizing an OG build, the shoes come with mesh and leather on the upper, and integrated midsole-outsole, and Hexalite cushioning. Most of the upper comes dressed in White with Yellow and Purple on the panels, branding, and tongue and heel logos. This pair also pays tribute to Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Van Exel, who wore The Blast in the 1990s.
