We have written about the Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard a few times with some pretty nice shots of the shoes, but what we lacked at the time was a release date. Today that has changed and sources are pointing at a May 2015 launch.
For those that missed out on the other articles, the Shattered Backboard Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is inspired by Michael Jordan’s jersey when he played in an exhibition game in Italy. The Shattered Backboard Air Jordan 1 will not be an easy cop. Numbers produced are on the limited side, in addition not all retailers will have them. So far it looks like EastBay won’t be one of them. If purchasing in-store, be prepared to enter a raffle. Seems like most places are cracking down on the lineup, so you could avoid that. One retailer that will have sizes is RockCityKicks.
