A month or so ago, we showed you guys a new take on Scottie Pippen’s first signature shoe with Nike in the Nike Air Pippen “Camo”, a shoe that immediately got a loud reaction in the sneaker community (not all of which was good). Well, today we bring you a release date for this crazy pair of kicks, whose upper features a design that looks more than a little like 2 earthworms squiggling their way to some fresh-cut grass (writers have imaginations, guys…).
The Nike Air Pippen “Camo”, set for a September 14th release, features a black nubuck upper accented with what can only be described as “brown squigglies”, and sits atop an anthracite and lime green midsole/outsole combination. Lime green accents in the form of the swooshes and Pippen branding add some flair throughout, while black laces tie things up.
