Well, thank the sneaker gods; it looks like the Nike Dunk Low Retro “Viotech” will be releasing in the US after all, and soon. The modern-classic “Viotech” Dunk, one of the loudest of all colorways in the Nike Dunk pantheon, originally released in late-2001 as a Japan-only release, infuriating sneakerheads the globe-wide. Put that Morten’s away, fellow sneakerhead; you will get your chance, on June 8th, to cop this fruity-colored pair.
The shoe features the premium suede upper, grey laces, and white-on-violet sole you’ve come to love, but the shoe also features a few key updates: buttery full-grain leather on the collar, insole, and the updated “Nike” tongue tab (which features “Nike Zoom” instead of the classic “Nike” from the original pair), and Zoom Air in the heel for the added comfort you Nike SB heads will have become accustomed to.
Will you be copping this release this weekend? Personally, looks like I’ve got another early weekend wake-up in store… Hit the jump for more pics, and let us know what you think of this modern-day classic in the comments below.
