If you weren’t one of the lucky people to get your hands on a pair of Nike LeBron X “MVP” a couple weeks ago, the next best thing is about to hit stores. Very few stores. Three stores, in fact. And that’s it. The Nike KD V Premium “What the KD”, a mash-up in the “What The?” vein started with the Nike Dunk Low “What The Dunk?” in 2007, will be available on June 14th, at Nike Georgetown, Nike Chicago, and Nike Los Angeles, and only those 3 locations. No Nike.com, no Eastbay, no House of Hoops, no nothing; just those 3 locations. So, if you don’t happen to live in any of those 3 locations (or know anyone who lives in those areas), prepare to be disappointed, or pay a LOT on the reseller market; not LeBron X “MVP” money, but substantially more than retail, which is set at $135.
Will you be trying to score a pair of these crazy kicks, available only by RSVP via those 3 spots’ respective Twitter handles? Or will you be like the majority of the sneaker community and have to pass on this release, either by choice or by force? Let us know in the comments below, and hit the jump for another look at the newest addition to the “What The?” pantheon of kicks, as well as some release info. From the staff here at Sneaker Files, good luck to all trying to cop these kicks!
You’ll need it.
