N7 is Nike’s commitment to bringing sport and all of its benefits to Native American and Aboriginal communities in North America. To support this commitment, Kevin Durant and N7 have collaborated on two special editions of the KD IV. With a seamless upper and Adaptive Fit, the Nike N7 Zoom KD IV ($95) delivers comfort and support on the court while honoring the history and future of Native Americans in sports.
The uppers on both versions of the N7 Zoom KD IV feature turquoise, the color of friendship and the signature color for N7. The upper also features Pawnee star detail to represent the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma. The Nike N7 logo on the left-shoe tongue represents the medicine wheel, reflecting the circle of life philosophy and the four cardinal directions. And the basketball on the right-shoe tongue connects with a graphic tee offered this season.
The Nike N7 Zoom KD IV also boasts the same winning features as the original KD IV: Hyperfuse construction for ultra-lightweight durability and breathability; Adaptive Fit at the midfoot for customized lockdown and support; and a Nike Zoom unit in the forefoot for lightweight, low-profile and responsive cushioning.
Playing in Oklahoma brought Durant close to the N7 cause. This collaboration between Nike’s basketball and N7 teams is Durant’s way of giving back to the fans and community who have supported him by raising awareness for N7. A portion of profits from sales of this shoe will be donated to the N7 Fund—yet another great reason to step into the Nike N7 Zoom KD IV.
