In 2022, Nike will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Cortez by releasing multiple colorways and collaborations. One of those will be Chitose Abe’s Sacai, which could be in several colorways.
The Sacai x Nike Cortez collaboration features the original color scheme. Utilizing White leather on the base while Grey suede appears on the overlays. Next, Red and Blue detailing runs throughout and will also have the double-layered theme which was seen on the Blazer, LDWaffle, and VaporWaffle collaborations. Other details include co-branding, a visible Zoom Air unit in the forefoot, and each pair comes with special packaging.
Sacai Nike Cortez 4.0 Release Details
You can expect the Sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0 color options to start releasing at select retailers and Nike.com on August 31st. The retail price is $185. As soon as we have more information, we will make sure to update you.
