Rapper Skepta from the UK will debut an official collaboration with Nike Sportswear during September 2017. The model that has been picked is the Nike Air Max 97 Ultra 17.
Skepta used inspiration from his home Morocco while using elements from the 1999 Air Tuned Max which is the first shoe he saved up to buy with his own money.
The upper of the Nike Air Max 97 Sk has iridescent, polyutherane-coated, Copper/Rose Gold leather paired with black sandwich mesh and an HF weld of the Swoosh logo (instead of an embroidered Swoosh). It draws inspiration from the colors of the 1999 Air Tuned Max, including the yellow air unit. The SK logo is in the shape of a British plug, and it’s mixed with the classic, small TN badges that they put on shoes.

The Skepta x Nike Air Max 97 Ultra 17 will release at select Nike Sportswear retailers on September 2nd, 2017. Once available, retail price will be $180. Once we have new information, we will make sure to update you.
