Stephon Marbury, who at one point of time was signed to AND1 started his own sneaker company known as Starbury. After a hiatus from making shoes, the brand is making a comeback and promoting the new shoes, he made a few commercials and videos to showcase what’s to come.
For those that don’t know, the Starbury line was available at a very low cost, around $15 each which made headlines. He even had some choice words in the past about the prices some of the current basketball sneakers went for. Retailers like Walmart had them, while we can’t attest to the quality, the old saying goes “you get what you pay for” comes to mind.
It appears that this time around, Stephon will be taking a lifestyle approach to his line while offering Starbury sneakers that light up. There is one model that looks like a complete rip-off of the Nike Flyknit Air Max. According to one of the videos, the shoes will go on sale this Labor Day, but where they will be available is unknown.
Below you can see the videos he put out of the new Starbury line and while you’re there, leave a comment letting us know what you think of them.
