On Friday the 13th, Sportie LA was Los Angeles’ only retailer for the new limited edition Swizz Beatz x Reebok Classics Limited Edition Kamikaze drop. Just like 7 other stores around the country, Sportie LA received a dozen pairs of these shoes for the lucky few who got in line early enough to receive them.
The line started at noon the day before the release and at its peak, there were as many as 50 people in line waiting, hoping to score a pair of the limited edition kicks.
“The Reebok Swizz Beatz collaboration is a perfect one, a mix of an iconic brand with the incredible sense of style of Swizz Beatz”, said Isack Fadlon, co-owner of Sportie LA. “The energy this drop has created is certain to elevate the sneaker game for Reebok.
