adidas will collaborate with Japanese fashion icon Kazuki Kuraishi’s and his label The Fourness to create a line of sneakers and apparel.
In a new collaborative project for Fall Winter 2015, adidas Originals has enlisted Japanese fashion icon Kazuki Kuraishi’s label The Fourness to create a comprehensive apparel and footwear collection.
Incorporating The Fourness’ methodical and calculated understanding of contemporary fashion into the brand with the three-stripes, the collection’s apparel range takes standout casual and sportswear pieces like sweats, tracksuits and the football bench coat, distilling them into their purest form with subtle decorations. Custom-woven fabrics, contemporary cuts and soft-spoken touches elevate the pieces with a refined modern flare, whilst joint-branded The Fourness and Trefoil embroidery details complete the picture alongside a selection of graphic t-shirts.
The story continues with a footwear collection that spans certified classics to brand new iterations. Three-stripes icons like the Basketprofi, Dragon and Stan Smith receive The Fourness’ touch with eye-catching colour palettes and premium material constructions, whilst models like the jacquard-knitted Tubular, collaborative Rivalry Hi with streetwear label Whiz and brand new Campus 8000 silhouette demonstrate the ever-progressive approach to footwear that has made Kazuki a style icon around the world.
The Fourness x adidas Originals Collection will debut at adidas Originals retailers and select locations on October 30th, 2015.
