Throwback: Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in the Air Jordan 5

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air turned out to become one of the greatest television sitcoms of all time during the 1990’s. Not only was the show hilarious, it rendered us many memorable moments including the episodes where the Fresh Prince wore the Air Jordan 5. How many of our readers remember that?!

Yes, it’s true. Will Smith (who played the Fresh Prince) wore many classic versions of the Air Jordan 5 such as the “Grape”, White/Fire Red-Black colorway and original Black/Metallic Silver, both of which donned the iconic “Nike Air” logo. Unlike many of today’s retro’s that show the Jumpman and retail in the $160 range, the Fresh Prince graced our television screens in flawless pairs of kicks that went for a mere $125 when they debuted in 1990.
