Traveling Back in Time With Eastbay: November '95 Catalog!

Bounce guest blogger and Eastbay Sneakerhead Jordan Hagedorn (Yes, his business card actually reads “sneakerhead”–how bugged is that?) provided an introspective look back at the company’s November ’95 catalog today over on Bouncemag.com. The issue could be the Wausau, Wisconsin based brand’s most classic ever, as the cover features Santa’s elves polishing up the Air Jordan XI (11) and Reebok Kamikaze Mid. Inside the mag, you’ll see hoops kicks from Nike, Pony, Fila, and British Knight. Images via Jordan Hagedorn and Eastbay

  4. DAM….i feel like a dinosaur. Those Air Max Chris Webbers was the team shoe of that year. My whole highschool team had them bitches. And every college team. Back then i think Shawn Kemp only had 5 kids now its like 20. Jordan was still taxin J's even back then $125 for the mid dam.

  5. Nike is no different now then they where then….except they got more money now. Shoes is like gas prices somehow for no reason the prices keep goin up.

  11. If only I was old enough to have a job back then. Jordan xi's, kamikaze's, go lwp. Amazing stuf that year.

  12. Whoever at Nike decided to start put those hanging tags on the back of their trainers should have been fired

  13. I used to salivate when Eastbay came and spend hours studying it. Now with the Sneakerblog boom… you can't show us anything we didn't see over a month ago. I don't even bother looking in the back of SLAM anymore because we've seen it all here! Anyway, sick pages!

  14. Ah yes, those where the good times. Jordan winning championships like it was easy. Man I just whish I had a DeLorean DMC-12,and some plutonium so I can go back to 95. lol

  15. I can remember sitting in class circling the ones I want… This is when it was more than just Nike in the shoe game. If you were a good player back then, you had a shoe. This would have been the time when a D Wade converse would have sold good. I miss the first Grant Hills. Yo, remember the Shaq's with the pump?!?
