UBIQ is back at it again with collaborations, this time teaming up with New Balance. The two will throw it back in history connecting the Philadelphia boutique with the UBIQ x New Balance 1600 ‘English Crown’ collaboration.
Digging deeper, the collaboration is inspired by St. Edward’s crown that was made for King Charles II.
Looking closer at this New Balance 1600 in connection with UBIQ, they feature Burgundy suede through the uppers for a premium feel while Gold accents are seen throughout. Other details includes a tribute to Charles II’s revamped St. Edward’s Crown along with the insole and hangtag featuring an Orb and Scepter.
For this special release, UBIQ is also teaming up with Goodwood for a special edition treasure chest. Each chest will be hand numbered and limited to 24 pairs that will provide other treats.
The UBIQ x New Balance 1600 English Crown will release at the UBIQ Walnut store and online on September 10th. Below you can check out additional photos.
