Unheardof x adidas Rivalry Lo “Grandma’s Couch” Pack Releasing November 2023

Arriving in November 2023 is the Unheardof x adidas Rivalry Lo “Grandma’s Couch”, a shoe inspired by the Cincinnati sneaker store’s founder, Philip Lipschutz, and his journey.

The founder of Unheardof, a sneaker store in Cincinnati, Philip Lipschutz, is getting ready for a new sneaker collaboration with adidas. He’s giving us a sneak peek of the “Unheardof x adidas Rivalry Lo “Grandma’s Couch”. A tribute to his journey,  where he used to sleep on his grandmother’s couch. It has brought him to the point where he’s designing his own adidas collaboration.

Releasing in two colorways known as “Grandma’s Couch” and “Mom’s Ugly Couch,” the adidas Rivalry Lo features your choice of Brown or Purple leather on the overlays. Highlighting the shoes are florals on the base using Spring colors, resembling his grandma’s couch. Red fills in the Three Stripes branding and heel tabs, Metallic Gold adorns the hardware. 

Posting to Instagram, Lipschutz stated the following: 

“From resting on my mom’s old couch to traveling to Portland and meeting the entire 3 stripes team. Mom, I always bring you fresh flowers, just as you told me to. Grandma, you taught me right from wrong on your couch, not just saving my life but also educating all my friends. Chapter 2 is dedicated to you, grandma. I can’t wait to see what the future holds!”

Unheardof adidas Rivalry Lo Grandma’s Couch Release Date

The Unheardof x adidas Rivalry Low “Grandma’s Couch” and “Mom’s Ugly Couch” will be released at Unheardofbrand.com and in-store on November 4th, 2023. The retail price is $165 each. Each shoe is limited to 1,000 pairs. Below, you can check out more photos to give you a closer look.
