A little over a month ago we reported that Vans was teaming up with sneaker store Dave’s Quality Meat to open the “The General,” a sneaker shop located in the Soho area of New York City. The store is located on 93 Grand Street; and, it “will not only carry on the mindset, respect and authenticity of DQM, but teams it up with the knowledge and values of Vans, to cater to the growing skateboarding and lifestyle community in New York City and beyond.” A collection of footwear and apparel will be prepared and made available for men, women and children, with some offerings that will be made available only through this sneaker location. Take a look at the pictures here to get an idea of what “The General” looks like, until you (hopefully) get the chance to visit it for yourself.
