Ahead of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, this year’s World Basketball Festival got underway in Brixton.

Saturday 30th June, saw the Nike World Basketball Festival takeover Brixton.
A full-sized court was built on Windrush Square to host a 3-on-3 competition, before a Nike + dunk contest kicked off.
Legends of the game Luol Deng and Scottie Pippen took to the court inspiring the next generation of ballers.
Things really heated up as Team Nike from NYC narrowly edged out a GB All-Star team in a hard fought 5-on-5 spectacular.
The festival ended in style as the best of basketball & hip-hop came together at the 02 Academy Brixton in front of a packed house of 5,000.
Dot Rotten, Angel and Big Boi rocked the stage as international dunkers Guy Dupuy & Steve Lobel stunned the crowd with some unbelievable slams.
