With growing adidas Originals collections like Jeremy Scott and Kazuki, adidas Consortium had begun to slowly lose some of its ground over time. To regain momentum, adidas designer and concept manager Daniel Bauer and Christian Otto got together to develop a new concept for the project.
By adopting the Latin phrase, “Tabula Rasa” (meaning “blank slate”), the team was able to start fresh and bring the new adidas Originals Consortium “Tabula Rasa” Pack to fruition. After digging into the adidas archives and taking inspiration from the pack’s original models, the ZX 500, Decade, BC, Matchplay and Pro Shell would all reemerge and share similar characteristics.
Take a closer look at the adidas Originals’ Consortium ‘Tabula Rasa’ Pack video in conjunction with Swedish sneaker boutique Sneakersnstuff below. Up until Saturdays release, Sneakersnstuff will highlight a model from the collection on its Consortium microsite. All shoes from the collection will be available this Saturday, November 26th.
