Even when there’s no basketball season, only the most dedicated players are still in the gym. Working to grow their game, exceed expectations, and become overall better competitors, Brandon Jennings, Derrick Williams, and Kemba Walker all have a common goal in mind when it comes to being the best; work hard. Under Armour unveils their new “Are You From Here?” campaign with a commercial featuring the brand’s young and talented brand-building trio.
With the unveiling of their Fall 2011 theme, the showing of the new Micro G basketball footwear collection, and the debut of Brandon Jennings’ signature Micro G Bloodline shoes earlier this week at the Openhouse Gallery in New York City with all three players and UA player exclusive standout Greivis Vasquez in attendance, Under Armour is steadily preparing for the ultimate takeover.
Filmed in historic gyms like Rice High School in New York City and Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, we take a closer look at Jennings, Williams, Walker and other players’ dedication to practice, training sessions, teamwork, and the overall game.
The campaign is set to include a host of tv ads, an extended long video, and a bus tour where Jennings, Williams, and Walker will travel to Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York City to play against three of the country’s top high school basketball programs. The highly anticipated games will be free and open to the public. Foot Locker will also host an autograph signing and Q&A session after each game for fans.
