Wale is absolutely NO stranger to the sneaker game. In fact, he’s consistently out shined his competition with unreleased samples, OG’s, rare exclusives, and more. Most recently he payed a visit to NYC’s Flight Club to buy up an innumerable amount of Air Jordan 3’s to give away in conjunction with his latest upcoming album, The Gifted.
Unsurprisingly, Wale makes headlines again as he hints at a possible Jordan Brand collaboration while guest appearing on Power 105′s The Breakfast Club alongside DJ Envy, Charlamagne, and Angela Yee. If you thought his Air Jordan III (3) “White Python” custom was something to rave about, just imagine how much attention his latest claim will garner in the months to come.
Let’s be honest though, the possibilities are endless. He wouldn’t be the first rapper, or artist, with their first retro. Could a Wale x Air Jordan retro be in the works? What would it look like?
