Grace Wales Bonner, founder of the menswear brand Wales Bonner, will once again connect with adidas for a new collection. The duo last connected for their Spring/Summer 2022 collection, and now we take a look at the upcoming Wales Bonner x adidas FW23 collection that will launch later this year.
For 2023, Bonner will once again use the adidas Samba and SL72 silhouettes, which were both featured in the FW20 and SS22 collections. Constructed with premium materials, the Samba has leather throughout, a reflective gunmetal finish, and decorative stitched Three Stripes branding on the sides. Also featured is a heel badge and oversized tongues that pay tribute to retro soccer boots, while Earth Brown adorns the rubber sole.
Moving along to the SL72 Knit, which will be available in two color options. Both will come with a knitted upper, suede overlays, and premium leather on the tongues, heels, and liner. One pair is dressed in Green and Yellow accents. The second utilizes Brown throughout and Burnt Orange details. All three pairs will come with Wales Bonner branding on the lateral heel, insoles, and branding on the packaging.
You can expect the Wales Bonner x adidas Samba and SL72 Knit color options to release at select retailers and adidas.com during Fall/Winter 2023. Once we have more information, we will make sure to update you. For now, scroll below for more photos giving you a better look.
