After a limited release overseas last weekend, we’ve come to learn that the Whiz Limited x Mita Sneakers x New Balance MRT580 will release here in the states.
History is going to be made this Saturday, November 30th, right here on NewBalance.com and at our New Balance flagship stores in New York City and Boston.
In recent years, New Balance has partnered with famed Japanese apparel brand Whiz Limted and the shop Mita Sneakers to co-create some of the world’s most sought-after footwear collabs. Now, for the first time ever, a WHIZ x MITA X NewBalance collaboration will be available in the United States, and exclusively through New Balance.
The shoes – special makeups of the New Balance 580 silhouette – feature a black premium leather upper framed by contrast stitching, highlighted by laser-cut star perforations. Reflective inlays shine from within when hit by lights at night and a hint of orange lining shows at the tongue and collar. The shoe is topped off with a signature New Balance REVlite midsole for lightweight support and cushioning.
As you would expect, the WHIZ x Mita x New Balance MRT580 will be available in extremely limited quantities. The shoes will go on sale this Saturday morning at 10 A.M. ET on NewBalance.com (more info coming tomorrow), at our 5th Avenue New York store (150 5th Avenue) and at our Boston flagship location (583 Boylston Street) and will retail for $164.95.
