Here we have a collaboration between Converse Japan and streetwear staple XLARGE called the Converse XR991. The sneaker’s upper is constructed with a navy suede and camouflage nylon mesh to give a military influence. Reflective tape is added to the toes as well as the side panels and heel for added visibility. Lastly, details are added to the side heel to imitate the popular Auckland Racer model where the sneaker sits atop a white, marble and gray midsole with a pop of red. Sadly, these bad boys will only be released exclusively in Japan sometime this December.
Stay tuned to Sneakerfiles as more information becomes available.
